2022 RISE Program

Applications for this year’s RISE Program are now open for Boys turning 13 or 14 (15 years boys have the RISE 15’s Titans), and Girls turning 13, 14 or 15 in 2022
 
The RISE Rugby League Development Program is an initiative that forms part of the Rugby League Player Development Framework (PDF). Its aim is to achieve three primary objectives set out by the PDF:
- Attract and Retain Participation
- Foster Personal Development
- Transition and Nurture Performance
 
In addition to these primary objectives, the PDF is directed by six guiding principles:
Foundation Principle: Provide an environment that fosters Confidence, Competence, Character, Connection and Contribution.
 
Our aim as a coaching staff is to achieve the following:
- Deliver high quality early and ongoing engagement.
- Offer high amounts of deliberate play in children.
- Delay specialisation in childhood and recognise the benefits of
diversification.
 
Session Dates: 
Session 1 - 4/05/2022
Session 2 - 15/06/2022
Session 3 - 20/07/2022
Session 4 - 10/08/2022
Session 5 - 14/09/2022
Session 6 - 12/10/2022
 
Where: Territory Sports Academy (NTIS/Athletics field)
What Time: 5:00pm to 7:30pm
To Qualify: Must be turning 13 or 14 in 2022
To Register: Open the below link, add in the Marrara post code of 0812 and select RISE NT Mixed 13's, 14's and 15's Girls. From here you can register to the Program.

Cost: $50 (to be paid once accepted into the RISE Program)
What you receive: High level coaching in the gym, on the field and with a specialist sports psychologist. You will also receive training apparel consisting of shorts and a shirt.
