.What is the NRL RISE Program?
The NRL RISE Program is a junior participation and development program designed for young players who are ready to take the next step in their rugby league journey.
RISE focuses on:
- 🏉 Skill development aligned with national NRL coaching frameworks
- 🧠 Game understanding and decision-making
- 💪 Athletic development and movement fundamentals
- 🤝 Leadership, discipline and respect
- 🌏 Creating clear local-to-national pathways
For Elcho Island participants, RISE provides a structured and supported opportunity to grow their game while staying connected to culture, community and family.
The program aligns with broader NT pathways including Territory Championships and representative selection opportunities, forming part of NRL NT’s commitment to stronger regional pathways and inclusive growth across the Territory.
Player RISE Program Registration (Required)
All players must complete two important steps to participate.
Step 1: Register on MySideline (Insurance + Profile)
Players (or parents/guardians) must create a MySideline profile (if they haven’t already). This ensures:
- Player insurance coverage
- Accurate participant records
- Eligibility for NRL NT programs
When registering, use Club Finder and select:

- Club Finder – MySideline (create profile + find club)
Step 2: Register for the RISE Program
After creating a MySideline profile, players must also register directly to the RISE Program so they can be officially signed off as RISE Participants.

Coaching Courses – Supporting Local Leaders
To ensure quality delivery of the RISE Program and upcoming competitions, NRL NT will deliver two separate in-person coaching courses over two nights, supporting:
- Territory Championships (U16)
- Top End Cup (U10 / U12)
Courses will be split into:
- 8s–12s
- 13s–18s
Important: Pre-course eLearning is Mandatory
Before attending the face-to-face course, coaches must complete the required online modules.
Coach Registration Steps
Step 1: Register on MySideline as a Coach
Coaches must create a profile and register with:

Workshops (TBC)
