UNREAL! Girls – Let’s make this happen with your girlfriends, mums, aunties, grandmothers, sisters, and anyone keen to support the NRL NT GIRLS ONLY Under 9s & Under 11s teams – just for fun – Friday nights at TRL Stadium!"


As part of the NRL NT commitment in provide greater inclusion for female participation locally lies in taking small but strategic steps toward integrating girls-only mini and mod non-competitive age groups into our NT junior league structure from 2026.


We're thrilled to be launching a new initiative for girls aged 8–11 to participate in a fun and safe environment, where they can develop new skills and play games in all-girls teams.

Program Details:

  • When: Friday evenings, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Where: TRL Stadium
  • Dates: May 30 to June 20
  • Registration: Free
  • Format: Social player format – no clearances or permits required if already registered with a club. Players can participate in these Friday night games as well as their regular club matches.

We are also actively seeking coaches and sports trainers to help support the teams.

Come and celebrate NAIDOC Week with Community and see some of the Territory's best Rugby League talent as the Indigenous All Stars take on the Territory All Stars from Juniors through to our Senior Women and Senior Men's teams. The Deadly Cup is brought to you by the Deadly Vision Centre in partnership with NRL Northern Territory , Indigenous Allied Health Australia and Danila Dilba Health Service.
