Darwin Brothers Set the Benchmark

Nine rounds into the 2026 Tru-Flow Services Premiership, the competition has delivered high-quality rugby league, emerging stars and plenty of storylines that promise an exciting run home.

While Darwin Brothers have established themselves as the team to beat, every club has shown moments of quality, ensuring the race for finals positions remains alive heading into the second half of the season.

Brothers Setting the Pace

Darwin Brothers sit atop the ladder with 18 competition points and an outstanding +408 points differential, combining attacking flair with disciplined defence.

Their dominance is reflected across the competition's individual statistics, with Talia Corrie leading the try-scoring race with 12 tries, while both Talia Corrie and Mawgan Keats feature prominently among the leading point scorers.

Dragons Keep the Pressure On

Sitting second, the Nightcliff Dragons remain firmly in premiership contention.

Their balanced attack has been led by Cecilia Misob and Mere Rasaku, who continue to feature among the competition's leading point and try scorers. Consistency throughout the opening half of the season has kept the Dragons within striking distance of the ladder leaders.

Bears Building Momentum

The Litchfield Bears have quietly emerged as one of the form teams of the competition.

Currently third on the ladder, the Bears continue to improve each week and boast the competition's leading point scorer in Erin Luchetti, while Paige McCourt and Jonte Fitzgerald have also made their mark among the league's leading try scorers.

Sharks Continuing to Develop

Although results haven't always fallen their way, the Northern Sharks continue to show encouraging improvement.

Several close contests have demonstrated the side's growth, with valuable experience being gained each week as they continue building towards the back half of the season.

Raiders Show True Club Spirit

The Palmerston Raiders have faced significant challenges through player availability and injuries during the opening rounds.

Despite those setbacks, the Raiders have embodied a genuine next-player-up mentality, with experienced players and emerging talent stepping in whenever required. Their resilience and club spirit have ensured they remain competitive every week and continue to lay strong foundations for the future.

Rabbitohs Continue to Compete

The South Darwin Rabbitohs have continued to display determination throughout the season.

While results have been difficult to come by, the Rabbitohs have remained committed to competing until the final whistle every week, highlighting the character and resilience within the playing group.
