NT Titans Senior Men's, u17/18's Staff Opportunities

Excellent Personal Development Opportunity

The NRL NT is advertising Coaching Staff Roles with the Senior Men & U17’s/18’s Boys Titans Representative teams for 2023.

 

Dates for the Senior Men and 17’s Boys Combined Affiliated States Competition are set for the 22nd to the 24th of September, while the 18’s Combined Affiliated States NT Squad will start training on the 16th of April through to early June.

 

Trials for the U18’s (17’s players included) will be held on the 1st of April during the Chemist Warehouse NRL NT Club Challenge for 18’s & 16’s Boys.

 

Senior Men Representatives will be identified during performances with their club in the NRLNT Competition.


17’s & 18’s Schoolboys Program Details:

  • 17’s Titans Squad will prepare for the U17’s Combined Affiliated States Championships from the 22nd to the 24th of September in Sydney
  • 18’s squad will train locally for a chance of being sent to trial for the Combined Affiliated States team attending the Australian Schoolboys Competition in Melbourne, from the 30th of June to the 7th of July.

 

These programs are separate but will be selected from the same competition. 17’s/18’s appointed coaches will also be required to facilitate the development of both the 17’s Representative team and 18’s CAS NT Squad.

Requirements (Coaches):

  • Current Accreditation for Community Coach 13’s+ (for 17’s Boys)
  • Current Accreditation for Community Coach 19’s+ (Senior Men’s)
  • 3 years’ experience coaching at 17’s+ levels
  • Understanding of up to date coaching practices
  • Open to coaching suggestions by Coach Mentors

 

Requirements (Support Staff):

  • Level 1 Sports Trainer Certificate
  • 2023 Spinal Injury Management - PUAEME00
  • Ochre Card (U18’s only
  • MR Bus License
  • CPR - HLTAID009
  • First Aid - HLTAID011 Provide First Aid


Medical accreditation will be as a needs to know for the role, with fully funded staff training available.
