This collaborative relationship is aimed at expanding our brand presence across the broader community, focused on providing rewarding experiences and greater recognition opportunities for our participants both on and off the field. Now that that new Junior Presentation night is locked in we are working on NRL Grand Final Day club fundraising event opportunity, Volunteer of the round awards, 2024 – State of Origin Game 1 at the Cinema and Women in League Movie Night just two proposals we are working towards with Event Cinemas management.

In the short term we are looking forward to this wonderful new initiative to acknowledge the achievements of our players, team coaches, referees, volunteers, teams, and clubs by introducing new awards such as.

  • Junior Volunteer of the Year
  • Senior Juniors Volunteer of the Year
  • Junior Coach of the Year
  • Junior Team of the Year (Based on Our House Rules behaviours not on field results)
  • Junior Club Champions

The event will start at 6.00pm with popcorn and drink on arrival with an expected presentation finish time of 7.15pm followed by the movie Gran Turismo https://www.eventcinemas.com.au/Movie/Gran-Turismo#cinemas=91&date=2023-08-04 and it is free of charge for those attending.

There will be further information coming soon on the process for nominating members for the various awards and encourage all clubs to take this opportunity to recognise coaches, volunteers and teams for their contribution to Rugby League and the community by nominating them for an award.
