RISE is your opportunity for growth and education in Rugby League

Following on from the 2024 Alice Springs RISE Rugby League Program, the NRL NT  Pathways Team will again be visiting Alice Springs to deliver the 2025 RISE camp for 12 to 17 year old Boys and Girls on the 24th and 25th of May.


RISE is your opportunity for growth and education in Rugby League, as well as a pathway on to a bigger stage. Coming through this system will provide you with the tools to support strong Mental Health, resilience and physical maintenance for a better performance, supporting growth and understanding in your game.

Why: provides aspirational Junior Male and Female Rugby League players and coaches with an avenue to obtain specialised training and education through a holistic Rugby League development experience. This Program will also be the underpinning pathway to Representative team selections or additional Pathway Programs.

Over the 2 days, we will focus heavily on skill development through on-field activities and games, strength development training and education, while having plenty of fun.

DAY 1 (24th May)

  • 9:30am Players Arrive Anzac Oval
  • 10:00am Session 1 - Field - Catch/Pass
  • 10:30am Session 2 - Field - draw and pass/game sense
  • 11:00am Snacks
  • 11:15am Session 3 - Indoors - Physical Competency (Dave Signor)
  • 12:30pm Session 4 - Indoors - Tackle/Wrestle
  • 1:30pm FINISH


DAY 2 (25th May)

  • 9:30am Players Arrive Anzac Oval
  • 10:00am Session 5 - Running technique (Dave Signor)
  • 10:30am Session 6 - Field - Game simulations
  • 11:00am Snacks
  • 11:15am Session 7 - Indoors - Strength development & flexibility Training (Dave Signor)
  • 12:30pm Session 8 - Indoors - Tackle/Contact Games
  • 1:30pm FINISH


What you will receive over the course of the 2 days:

  • Training shirt and shorts
  • An opportunity to be picked up for either the 15's Boys, 16's Girls, 18's Girls or 17's/18's Boys Rep teams
  • RISE Training Shirt & Training Shorts
  • Professional coaching in fundamental Rugby League Skills, strength building and speed development
