RISE Rookie Returns for 2026

NRL NT is pleased to confirm RISE Rookie will recommence on Sunday 1 February 2026, running from 9:00am – 11:00am at Territory Rugby League Stadium.

This next block of sessions is an important step in our 2026 pathways calendar, with training designed to support athlete development and assist our coaching staff to identify players who may be eligible for selection into the Under 17s/18s Girls and Boys CAS Camps.

Stronger Pathways Through Dolphins Integration

As part of the recent alignment between NRL NT and the NRL Dolphins, RISE Rookie continues to strengthen its role as a genuine entry point into higher performance environments. This improved integration ensures clearer development touchpoints for athletes, better connection across coaching and program frameworks, and a more streamlined pathway for Territory talent to progress through the system.

2026 RISE Rookie Training Schedule

All sessions run 9:00am – 11:00am, with location details below:

  • Sunday 1 February 2026 (Session 5): TRLS – Field/Gym
  • Sunday 8 February 2026 (Session 6): Tackle/Wrestle Session – Ludus House Jiu-Jitsu, Winnellie (group times to be confirmed)
  • Sunday 15 February 2026 (Session 7): TRLS – Field/Gym
  • Sunday 22 February 2026 (Session 8): Tackle/Wrestle Session – Ludus House Jiu-Jitsu, Winnellie (group times to be confirmed)

Please note: Tackle/Wrestle sessions will be delivered in groups. Confirmed group times will be communicated closer to each session.

Athlete Reminder

All athletes are reminded to wear the required RISE apparel to every session to support consistency, professionalism, and program standards.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at TRL Stadium on 1 February as we continue building stronger pathway opportunities for Territory athletes through our growing NRL NT x Dolphins integration.
