Unreal Night in Livingstone: Building Futures Closer to Home!
Genuine Excitement, Laughter, and Community Pride filled the air

A huge and unreal night for the Livingstone community, and the future of the game in the Northern Territory!
More than 40 kids and 60 parents came together at the Livingstone Recreation Reserve alongside the National Rugby League NT and NRL Touch Football NT teams to talk about the shared vision for a new Junior Rugby League and Touch Football Sporting Club, set to launch in 2026.
The energy was incredible, genuine excitement, laughter, and community pride filled the air as families explored how the new club will bring year-round opportunities for kids and families across the rural area.

This initiative is part of a broader partnership with the Livingstone Recreation Reserve Committee and aligns with the Reserve’s 2025–2035 Master Plan, which focuses on enhancing local facilities and strengthening community connections through sport, recreation, and inclusion.
The new club aims to provide local pathways for children aged 6–12 to enjoy Rugby League and Touch Football in a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment, right in their own backyard.

Next Steps
The next milestone is the
formation of a Working Committee to help shape the club’s future.
