League Tag Shines at Clontarf & Stars Foundation Gala Days
Strong foundations, stronger communities – League Tag connecting Territory youth

Rugby League spirit was on full display across back-to-back weeks at Territory Rugby League Stadium, as the Clontarf Foundation and Stars Foundation partnered with the NRL Game Development Team for two fantastic League Tag Gala Days.
Clontarf Academy League Tag Gala Day – Tuesday 21 November
What an awesome day at the Clontarf Academy League Tag Gala Day! 🏉☀️
The energy, teamwork, and good vibes made it a day to remember, with students from Clontarf Academies across Darwin and Palmerston showcasing their skills, sportsmanship, and mateship on and off the field.
A massive thanks to the Clontarf staff, teachers, and the NRL Game Development team who helped bring it all together — it was an absolute blast!
We’re already looking forward to the next one. 🙌🏾

Stars Foundation League Tag Gala Day – Tuesday 28 November
Just one week later, it was the girls’ turn to take centre stage for the Stars Foundation League Tag Gala Day, where strength, courage, and teamwork were on show despite the extreme heat conditions.
Congratulations to all participating teams for pushing through and giving their best — and to the two grand finalists, Casuarina Stars (12) and Taminmin Stars (4), for an exciting finish!
A big shout-out to the amazing Stars Foundation staff and the NRL Game Development team for making the day possible.

Building Confidence, Connection and Opportunity
Both Gala Days highlight the powerful role that sport plays in building confidence, connection, and opportunity for young people across the Northern Territory.
The collaboration between the NRL, Clontarf Foundation and Stars Foundation continues to create inclusive and empowering experiences that celebrate participation, teamwork, and community pride.
